He says China is teaching their children English in the third grade. By 2010 China will be the world’s largest English speaking nation. So I’m not sure what that means. It’s one of those very utilitarian languages that is pretty ingrained already as the preferred language of business. Maybe that means it behooves you to befriend a Chinaman before you go shitting all over opium dens and deep fried starfish on a stick.
